About this scene

The apartment is almost empty. The walls need one last coat of paint. And they are meeting here for the final time.Mia and Carlo -- played by real-life husband and wife Micky and Philip Bottenberg -- move through the space they once shared with the particular, aching weight of people who know every corner of it. Old lovers. Erotic memories painted into every wall. Undying feelings that don't care about separation agreements or sensible decisions. There are no words for this. There doesn't need to be.What happens between them is passionate, unrestrained and completely, heartbreakingly real -- two people who don't know if this is the last time, choosing each other one more time anyway. Grief and desire arrive together, as they always do, inseparable.A deeply romantic and melancholic explicit short film about love that refuses to end cleanly -- directed by Sylvia Borges with the kind of restraint and precision that makes every moment land.
